“Look at the birds flying about! They neither plant nor harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they are?” (Matthew 6:26)
This is living:
Have you ever stopped to think about this? The birds who flies in the air knows that each and every day there will be a worm on the ground for them to eat. They know not when the worm will come out of the ground, but they go about their day doing whatever it is they do. When the time is a right, a worm appears and then the bird swoops down and takes its provision and then goes back and feeds its’ little ones.
Do we know that we are more important to God than the birds of the air? For if Christ is our life, we are God’s Children!
We too can carry on in life knowing that as we live, going about the ebb and flow of life, God will provide for us also. We don’t know when, but we can rise each and every morning expecting that He will. Even while we are sleeping God is preparing our provision.
“It is vain for you to rise up early,
To retire late,
To eat the bread of painful labors;
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.” (Ps 127:2)
As we learn to move and have our being in Christ Jesus, we too like the birds of the air go about our days, knowing that God already has things laid out for us. We know that God provided everything for His son Jesus, therefore now that Jesus has become our life, He will too provide everything for us.
“for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’” (Acts 17:28)
This is Living my friend!
From of old no one has heard
or perceived by the ear,
no eye has seen a God besides you,
who acts for those who wait for him. (Is. 64:4)
