This is something that God shared with me several years ago while working the night shift, I had been seeking The Lord about some things that were going on in my life and was questioning myself about my walk with Him. I’ll never forget the night when he gave me this wonderful vision of His Love for me.

She sits and gazes deeply into the mirror reflecting on the journey that she has been on over the past few years. It has been a very long wait but now the day is finally here. She looks into the mirror to make sure that everything is in place, her hair, her dress; she wants to make sure she looks her best. For this is a very special day for her, you see it’s her Wedding Day. With every thought her heartbeat begins to speed up, as she knows that the time is almost near.

Then all of a sudden the doors to her chamber swing open and a loud voice exclaims; Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!

She proceeds to the open doors, she pauses as her palms are sweaty, her heart is beating rapidly, and thoughts rush through her head of what will he look like. Thoughts of Will I be good enough, do I look ok, is everything in place, these thoughts run through her mind a mile a minute? She then glances at everyone in the crowd, with awe; she is amazed at how many people have come to celebrate this wonderful day with her.

Then she reaches the door opening and all of a sudden a hush comes over the great cloud of witnesses that have come to celebrate the wonderful union that is about to take place. The angels peek over the balcony to try to get a glimpse of what is about to take place.

As she makes her way down the aisle, it is as if everyone disappears because her focus is now fixed on the gentleman standing at the altar waiting on her. With each step, her heart beats faster and faster but at the same time, she is overwhelmed by such peace that she can’t even begin to understand.

The crowd is in awe over her beauty and her gown which is oh so perfect. As she approaches the alter she turns to face him. His eyes light up with Love and Joy and His smiles radiate all throughout the entire room. Then the Minster (God the Father) with such delight on His face looks at the gentleman and says to Him, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased. He then looks at the Bride and smiles with delight and then turns back to the gentleman and says I present to you, your bride in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; she is Lovely, Holy, and Blameless. The minter says to them, this union I bless and what God has joined together no one can ever separate. I now pronounce you husband and wife. The two shall become one flesh!

Then with a loud roar, the great cloud of witness and all of heaven begins to celebrate with great joy!

This is titled The Wedding!

2 Timothy 4:8 – And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearance.

Do you ever sit and just long for His glorious appearance? Think about what it will be like when you see Him face to face.

Revelation 19: 6-9Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many glasses of water and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!

For the Lord our God

   the Almighty reigns.

Let us rejoice and exult

   and give him the glory,

for the marriage of the Lamb has come,

   and his Bride has made herself ready;

it was granted her to clothe herself

with fine linen, bright and pure”—

for the fine linen are the righteous deeds of the saints.

And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

Amen
